SSC JE Result 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the online results and cut-off marks for the recruitment of Junior Engineer JE (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical). Eligible candidates can access and download the PDF of the online result from the SSC official website, ssc.nic.in, starting November 17, 2023, onwards for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) Paper-I Examination 2023.

SSC JE Result 2023 Notice
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) administered the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2023 (Paper-I) in Computer-Based Mode from October 9 to October 11, 2023, at various centers nationwide. Due to the multiple shifts of Paper-I in Computer-Based Mode, candidates’ scores have been normalized using the formula published by the Commission on its website on February 7, 2019. In accordance with the provisions outlined in Para 13.7 of the Examination Notice, the normalized marks have been utilized to process the results for shortlisting candidates for the subsequent stage of the examination (i.e., Paper-II).

Minimum Qualifying Marks 2023:-

In terms of Para-18.1 of Notice of the Examination, minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I have been fixed as 30% (i.e. 60 marks) for UR, 25% (i.e. 50 marks) for OBC/ EWS and 20% (i.e. 40 marks) for all other categories

Resolution of Tie-Cases:-

In cases where more than one candidate secure the equal aggregates marks in Paper-I and Paper-II, tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another till the tie is resolved: Total marks in Paper-II. Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher. Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.

Click on the JE tab under the Result section. Look for the result uploaded date with the examination name and year, such as “Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2023 (Paper-I): List of candidates shortlisted in Paper-I for appearing in Paper-II.” On the right-hand side of the result section, you will find the Write Up and Result tabs.
